Heart-Shaped Waffle Iron
This is the waffle iron I used and own!
These are affiliate links – which means I will earn a percentage if you make a qualifying purchase at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Recipe Steps
Step 1: Mix All Ingredients
Preheat the waffle iron. While it heats up, add all ingredients for the waffles to a bowl and mix. Starting with the wet ingredients will make blending easier.
Step 2: Cook Waffles
Once the mix is well-blended and of batter-consistency pour portions of the mix into your waffle iron and close. Follow your waffle iron’s cooking indicator or instructions for bake time.
Lift waffle iron and remove the waffle once ready. Place on a baking rack to cool.
Step 3: Make Glaze & Drizzle
Pour all ingredients for glaze in a bowl. Use whisk or mixer to blend ingredients until it’s a smooth consistency.
Scoop glaze into a pastry bag (or ziplock bag with a tiny corner cut) and drizzle in a zigzag pattern over waffles.
Note: If your waffles are still too hot they may absorb your glaze so be patient.
That’s it – they are ready to serve and enjoy!
TIP: You can make this recipe ahead of time and freeze the waffles and bag of glaze. When ready to serve, remove waffles from the freezer and thaw until room temperature. Bake in the oven or toaster. To defrost the glaze, place the bag in a glass of hot water until drizzle-able.

Heart-Shaped Pink French Toast
Prep Time: 10 minutes
These pink heart-shaped french toasts are super easy to make and the perfect size portion. They are a staple for my valentine’s day recipes since they are a recipe everyone is already familiar with just with a fun and romantic twist. They are simple as normal french toast with just two extra steps for their fun size and bright color!
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- 4-6 Slices Bread
- ¼ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
- Red Food or Pink Coloring
- Syrup (for serving)
- Butter (for serving)
Tools
- Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter
- Frying Pan
Recipe Steps
Step 1: Prepare Bread
Lay out slices of bread and use your cookie cutter to press out heart shapes. It’s actually best to do this with slightly older bread as staler bread will hold its shape better.
Step 2: Mix
Beat eggs and mix with milk, extract, and cinnamon. Add drops of red food color until desired color is reached – keep in mind you may want to add a little more as the color fades during frying.
Step 3: Dip & Fry
Set the frying pan to medium heat. When the frying pan is ready, dip your bread slice into the egg batter on both sides before placing it on the frying pan.
Let cook on each side for 1-2 minutes. When both sides are golden, remove from the pan with a spatula.
Step 4: Serve
Serve your french toast slices with sliced fruit, whipped cream, powdered sugar maybe even cut out a small heart-shaped piece of butter … however you desire …bon appétit!

Dipped Doughnut Holes
Prep Time: 5 minutes
These doughnut holes are a cute, easy and SUPER quick addition to any brunch! They are prepared in three steps within five minutes and are an irresistible breakfast snack – bet you can’t have just one. This is the easiest of the valentine’s day recipes I’ll share – you don’t need any special tools (unless you count the microwave) and it doesn’t involve any baking. Sounds good, right?
Ingredients
- Doughnut Holes
- White Chocolate
- Milk Chocolate
- Sprinkles
- Red or Pink Food Coloring
Recipe Steps
Step 1: Melt Chocolate
Gather three separate microwave-safe small bowls – this will make it easiest to dip your doughnut holes evenly. Fill two bowls with white chocolate and one bowl with milk chocolate. Melt in the microwave at 30 second intervals to prevent burning the chocolate.
Step 2: Dip
Add sprinkles to a small shallow bowl. Dip a doughnut hole in one of your bowls of melted chocolate then dip into the bowl of sprinkles. Place down on a rack or wax paper and place chocolate-dipped side up to harden.
Repeat this step until all your doughnut holes are dipped – you can also forgo the sprinkles as well if you want a mix.
Step 3: Serve
Once the chocolate has hardened your doughnut holes are ready to serve. Enjoy!
