What You’ll Need for Your DIY Giant Playing Card Prints
Materials:
- Playing Card Prints: I recommend printing on 11” x 17” Tabloid paper for that “giant” look.
- Adhesive: Glue dots or double-sided tape (any adhesive will do!).
- Backing (Optional):
- Cake Boards (Optional): Use these if you want your cards to stand up on their own.
- Foam Core (Optional): For a sturdier, more professional feel if you don’t mind a little extra cutting.
Tools:
- Printer: Use your home printer or head to a local print shop like Staples.
- Cutting Tools: Scissors or a paper cutter for those crisp edges.
How to Make Your DIY Giant Playing Card Prints
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Print Your Designs
Choose your favorite card designs and print them on your intended paper size. For the BIGGER impact, go with tabloid size (11”x17”).

2. Trim to Perfection
Use your scissors or paper cutter to remove any white trim and round out the corners for a realistic playing card look.

3. Optional: Make Them Stand Up
If you want these to sit on a bar or table, adhere your print to a cake board (or foam core board) using glue dots in each corner. This was so easy and worth it to see the “Lucky You” King and Queen standing proud on my bar!

4. Hang and Enjoy
Ready to decorate? Use double-sided tape to stick your paper cards directly onto walls or windows. If you used the boards, simply lean them against the wall on any flat surface
